||Every Ambrose client has a special investment objective that is reflected in the Investment Management Agreement. The Financial Plan, and Investment Counselling phases of our work creates a custom Investment Management Agreement with a Policy Statement that sets out the prudent mixture of basic asset classes. These classes are cash, fixed income, and equity for Canada, United States, and outside North America usually called International for example. Each client has a special Policy Statement that may differ from other clients while still using the same basic asset classes.
The performance of the Client’s portfolio is judged on criteria that are set out in the Investment Management Agreement. Typically, the Portfolio is compared to the blended benchmark that is the weighted sum of the basic asset classes.
Our performance results present the performance that our long-term clients have experienced in these fundamental and commonly-shared basic assets classes. The performance of each asset class is compared to the relevant and commonly available benchmarks for each asset class.
