What is Net-Zero Energy?

On average, all energy from renewable sources: sun and ground. In the picture, we see the geothermal component. This provides 80% of the annual energy required for heating and cooling. To this we can add solar power to provide the required electricity for pumping on average over a year. Solar power balances grid usage over a year.

Hence, this particular design is “Net-Zero Energy.”
